Matt. 13:44NLT
44 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
Takeaway: The wise aren’t just willing to sell everything for the treasures of God, but eager, honored, and Joyful to do so.
Takeaway: Your Everything is Anything that will keep you from possessing the treasure!
Mtt. 16:25 NIV25 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
Mtt. 6:19-21NIV19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Takeaway: The everything He’s after is the everything your heart loves more than Him!
Takeaway: There is safety and security when our hearts are surrendered to the King!

45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Takeaway:Jesus is great a extracting treasure from our trouble and beauty from our pain.
Takeaway: We can joyfully give up everything for Him because He first gave up everything for us!
