3D Relationship

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14 NLT

The trinity falls outside our natural vision spectrum, but with the right lens it becomes a revelation of life and relationship that is deeper than we could ever dream.

I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. John 14:16-17 NLT

The Trinity isn’t just a description of who God is, but more importantly how He relates to us.

We have a loving Father

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. 1 John 3:1 ESV

We all have a loving Heavenly Father who patiently directs His sons and daughters.

We have a Savior and Lord, Jesus

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 ESV

Jesus is our older brother who leads by love and example.

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:12-13 ESV

The 3rd person in the Trinity is Holy Spirit

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. John 14:26 ESV

Holy Spirit is our power packed comforter, convictor and guide

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere, in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NLT

“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-19 NLT
