Christmas Eve

Dec 24, 2025

Then Mary gave birth to her firstborn son, and she wrapped him tightly in cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. In the same region, shepherds were staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock. Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be the sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.” Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors! Luke 2:7-14 CSB

More than Christmas celebrations.

Jesus came to call us to salvation.

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! Isaiah 9:6 NLT

Immanuel is more than a baby in a manger, He’s the King on heavens throne!

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. Luke 19:10 NLT

Jesus came to redeem the damage done by our rebellion in the garden, and to restore relationship with our heavenly Father forever.

The most important question at Christmas is what will we do with Jesus?

I do with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Matthew 27:22 NLT

The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works. 1 John 3:8 CSB
