My Best for Him

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10 ESV

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. Luke 19:10 NLT

Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20 NLT

For His Kingdom to come, we have to be willing to Go.

Go isn’t just a reference to geographical movement but I willingness to follow God into whatever He wills.

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life, your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life, and place it before God as an offering. Romans 12:1 MSG

I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 ESV

The God who called you is able to do what the God who called you called you to do.

Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world. James 1:27 MSG

Yes to God is not just yes to the concept, but yes to the process of learning Kingdom living.

Learn to do good. Work for justice. Help the down-and-out. Stand up for the orphan. Go to bat for the defenseless. Isaiah 1:17 MSG

So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith. Galatians 6:9-10 MSG

Hi. You introduced me to Jesus… Forever Grateful.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere, in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 NLT

Give up your small ambitions, come with me to save the world. - St. Francis Xavier

Remember this a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NLT

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:10 ESV

-POEM-

It’s not what I can’t do
but what I can do
that I am responsible for

You’ve simply called me
to walk out your will
and let you keep the score

I cannot measure
my earthly impact
from an earthly point of view

When I trust and try
and do my best
That’s when I honor you.

And then, something miraculous happens…

You come and multiply
The gifts I give to you
And do much more

than I could dream
To make your will
Come true

What can I do?
I can do what you ask me to
And that I will do

And pray, and give, and go and work

Believing you will do the rest
To meet the needs beyond my reach
if I will give my best.
