Church, Where You Belong
Church, where you belong!
You are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. Ephesians 2:19 NKJV
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 NLT
God is big enough to make us great together for Him!
We belong together, that’s why the enemy has worked so hard to push and keep us apart.
Our enemy wants to divide and conquer so he can deceive and destroy.
Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, “I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. How strange a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.” In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary. 1 Corinthians 12:14-22 NLT
It takes all of us together to be who God made us to be.
Serving is sign language for the lost who can’t yet hear or see God.
We can’t pull off together unless we are faithful to gather!
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do. Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT
You don’t need to think of your needs, you also need to know that your needed.
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 NLT
You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. 1 Corinthians 6:20 ESV
It’s His church, bought and built by Him, and He created a custom fit place in it just for you!
