Our disappointment does not permit us to disengage.

When Jesus had finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, he went out to teach and preach in towns throughout the region. 2 John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing.

Saying yes to God means joining him in what he’s already doing.

If we don’t come to Jesus with our disappointments, we will remain locked in our prisons of doubt.
